For review

TLDSB policies are reviewed and updated on a regular schedule and approved by the Board of Trustees.

The following policy will be reviewed in the 2025-2026 school year, and the Board is seeking public consultation on its renewal.

Status

This policy will be presented to the Policy Review Committee on February 10 and will be presented to the TLDSB Board of Trustees for final approval during the February 24 Public Meeting of the Board.

TLDSB Territory Acknowledgement

Trillium Lakelands District School Board, as a learning organization, acknowledges that we learn, live, and work on the traditional lands and waters of the Ojibway Nation and the Huron/Wendat Nation, and now includes communities from the Mohawk Nation, the Pottawatomi Nation and the Métis. Under the One Dish With One Spoon Treaty, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Anishinaabe Peoples agreed to share and care for this territory for the benefit of future generations.
